CIC Hard Drive Diagnostics Utility (Free Version)

Instructions

  1. Before you Begin:
    1. You need a blank 512MB USB Thumb drive or larger.
    2. Download the instructions and files from link below
  2. Format the USB drive:
    1. Install the USB Format Utility
    2. Format USB Drive with NTFS Format
  3. Install CrystalDiskInfo software on USB
    1. Extract the software files from the zip file to the USB Drive in a directory you create called "Diskinfo".
  4. Copy CTS Batch Files:
    1. Extract the software files from the zip file to the USB Drive or Copy CTS Batch files to the USB Drive.

   

Usage

  1. Bedrock
    1. Insert USB Drive into an open USB slot on running Bedrock CIC.
    2. From the CIC Setup screen, select the Service Password tab.
    3. When prompted for the service password, type mms_com and press Enter.
    4. At the C:\Program Files\Marquette\CIC\4.0.x> prompt, type  “F:” and Enter
    5. In the Command prompt window type “1” and Enter.
    6. This will open a new window and then type “2” and Enter. This will launch the program.
    7. Select the Drive D: (Hard Drive) from the buttons under the Menu at the top.
      1.  NOTE: Drive C: and E: are the Compact Flash.
    8. Verify the Health Status
    9. Record the power on Hours in the spreadsheet if applicable.
  2. MP100
    1. Insert USB Drive into an open USB slot on running MP100.
    2. From the CIC Setup screen, select the Service Password tab.
    3. When prompted for the service password, type mms_com and press Enter. 
    4. At the C:\Program Files\Marquette\CIC\5.0.x> prompt, type  “H:” and Enter
    5. In the Command prompt window type “1” and Enter.
    6. This will open a new window and then type “2” and Enter. This will launch the program.
    7. Select the Drive G: from the buttons under the Menu at the top.
    8. Verify the Health Status
  3. MP100 V2
    1. Insert USB Drive into an open USB slot on running MP100.
    2. From the CIC Setup screen, select the Service Password tab.​
